Howdy!

My name is Jaide (the "i" is silent), I'm 19 years old, and I'm from Coppell, Texas. I'm so excited to start this journey, and I'm so thankful to have the opportunity to serve the Lord in this way!

I am a huge people person and I love to just spend time with people I love. I am a big nerd, you name it; I love it. My primary passion is film and media, but I of course have a ton of other hobbies. Again - you name it; I love it.

I come from a seven-person household, three brothers and one sister, and my family is one of the most important parts of my life. Until I was 11, I was an only child, and I always asked for siblings. You really don't know what you have until you suddenly have four other pre-teens operating out of the same bathroom. As frustrating as morning routines are, though, I really wouldn't have been able to pursue this opportunity had it not been for their support.

My family really doesn't just end at the driveway, though. My church community and my youth leaders have been a big part of my spiritual growth, and they have been detrimental to me and my relationship with Christ. The things they have taught me and the opportunities they have presented me with are not only a testament to how their hearts have been affected by the Lord, but also how He would have my heart be affected as well. Whether it's been lessons or bible studies, heartfelt conversations, or even playing games and spending time together, each of them has shown me His love through themselves.

I feel that the Lord has put it on my heart to serve in the mission field to bring his light to the world. When I chose my route I knew almost immediately that He had been preparing me for it, and I cannot wait to begin!
